As you all know, I quit doing Energy Updates because there have been so many accurate energy updates out there from other people. But I decided to do one today.
I’ve heard from quite a few people these last three to four days about them feeling out of sorts. So, here is your energy update for today.
- Cranky
- Angry
- Frustrated
- Annoyed
- Head feels full or with pressure
- Teary — crying easily or at just about anything
- Depression that’s not “norm” for them
- Exhausted (though this seems to be pretty much all of us all of the time)
- Have trouble focusing – which can lead back to crankiness
- Forgetful
- Feel disconnected
- Keyword “Overwhelmed”
Okay, we’ve just had a full moon which does affect our moods/emotions, but on top of that, Venus has also gone Retrograde from 12/19/2021 until 01/29/2022. This can make us emotional. Oh, and 12/20/21 the moon is in Cancer (emotions). There are quite a few planetary influences felt right now, ranging from emotions and self-reflection to big changes. Yeah, I’m crying at movies, tv shows, books. I feel overwhelmed with emotions…mine and other.

But wait! There’s more! If you are an empath (chances are high if you are reading this), you are also dealing with feeling (hopefully outside of yourself; don’t absorb, observe) the depression, hopelessness, uncertainty and/or sadness of those hurting around the holidays.
Feel free to shield — this can possibly help you put some distance between your emotions and everyone else’s — but it won’t muffle your emotions.
Recommendations
- Treat yourself kindly.
- Maybe shield.
- Allow the emotion / crying to flow through and out of you. If you try to suppress it, it may make it worse and prolong it.
