You Each Have Your Role

Hubby and I were on the road and stopped by a shop we frequent when out that way, and we often enjoy chatting with the establishment’s owners – this day was no different.

Some topics came up that I get frustrated over and decided I was going to write about it and put it online.

We finished up and then got back on the road. After a while, I noticed an unusual and curious sight in my rear view mirror. I saw, over four lanes on the interstate, a large open gap immediately behind me with a wave or a wall of red vehicles moving up on me; red cars, trucks, vans and semi’s; I counted ten just on the “front line”.

They weren’t interspersed with other colored vehicles – it was literally all red coming up on me.

Bizarre.

Soon, as though “they” (no idea at the time who “they” were that were guiding this experience) understood that I saw the red wall, the red line of vehicles broke up and was eventually intermingled with other vehicles once again – becoming just another ordinary ride on the interstate.

But it seemed “they” felt the message wasn’t totally sinking in; every time I let my mind work on this article I wanted to write, a red vehicle would pull up along side of me or cut in front of me…every time.

That evening at home, I sat quietly and asked to talk to my team; I mentioned the red vehicle incident and how it was in sync with me mentally working on my article.

My team let me know that they were the “they” behind sending the red vehicles to me; I asked why.

I also asked if not speaking up about was “playing it safe” and not doing what I was here to do (regarding spiritual growth and life lessons) for this lifetime. They told me it wasn’t “playing it safe” and it wasn’t cowardice.

“You each have your role in this lifetime; that topic is not part of your role. Be who you are – play your role and allow others to play theirs.”

Yes, we are all here to experience being human – but many lightworkers/healers have roles beyond the human experience and into the spiritual experience…and sometimes we need a gentle reminder.

• If you aren’t sure what your spiritual “role” is in this lifetime, please have patience. It just may mean that your “part” in this “play” hasn’t come up yet.
• If you are gently guided (or as in my case, not so subtly) to refrain from stepping into a role that is not yours, please step aside.

In the meantime (until your role comes up), be your everyday self.
